I felt like I was doing all the right teacher things. I was interacting well with my students, I was handling situations like a pro, I was telling my kids the things I need them to know. I didn't let them get away with anything, even the small stuff. I spent a lot of time, yesterday and today, on teaching procedures, and making sure my students know what I expect out of them, and what our class is going to be like.
I felt like, starting my third year of teaching, things are really starting to click, and that makes me happy.
This is gonna be a good year, I can tell.
That's great that you were able to get the year off to such a good start! I know you'll have an unbelievable year with your students; you are an awesome teacher (according to Ben) and I'm glad you feel confident this early in the year!
